Wreh-asha as Bertha in Jane Eyre
Wreh-asha is a Nottingham born singer, song writer and actress, trained at Identity School of Acting in London. In 2010 debuted in Disney's The Lion King in Londons West End featuring as both comedic Shenzi and the matriach Sarabi.
As an independent artist, Wreh-asha wrote, co-produced and released soulful EP ‘Classic’. In 2013 single 'Classic' made a strong impact, receiving BBC Radio airplay, as well as featuring in US Bravo series 'Girlfriends Guide To Divorce' and Oprah's OWN 'Queen Sugar'. Performances as an independent artists have taken Wreh-asha to internationally renowned festivals and venues including Glastonbury and The Jazz Cafe. Having co-produced single ‘Crash’ with Drew Horley (Estelle, Wu-Tang Clan) Wreh-asha also co-directed the music video for the release which featured in music industry documentary ‘God Save The Queen’, alongside Motown legend Martha Reeves (Nick Donnelly/Urban Kingdom).

Off stage Wreh-asha is an advocate for 'Special Educational Needs', delivering intervention based support for children and young people with SEN. She has volunteered with Kids Company for their annual Christmas family day and continues to support in the facilitation of drama, music and academia for children and young people particularly those with with Special Needs.
Wreh-asha attended The Acting Studio in New York studying
under Meisner protege James Price and completing the
6-week Intensive Summer Conservatory.
While in New York Wreh-asha underwent training with Jim Daley of Bloc Agency NYC specialising in musical theatre repetoire. Following a series of masterclasses with Actors Connection at The Film Center, Wreh-asha then produced a reel showcasing a short of her favourite musical theatre songs.
On returning to the UK Wreh-asha took on the roles of Angie in The Leftovers (Leicester Curve et al.) and Bertha in Jane Eyre (The Watermill Theatre).
Wreh-asha is currently in rehearsal with the National Theatre for her role as Hermione in The Winters Tale.
